Ryan joined our team in January 2020, fresh out of completing his barbering apprenticeship. Despite not having similar interests to Rory; his being more along the lines of Country music, Highland Cows and running, they found a common interest in striving to provide a service which resulted in men feeling better about themselves.
The ongoing lockdowns took the wind out of many peoples sails, however Ryan has shown focus and discipline to ensure his journey in this craft wasn’t halted. Using a combination of traditional barbering, and men’s hairdressing he has been able to create the looks which you can see in this small collection.
We are going to produce more small write ups and collections to showcase to you all what we’re about here at realtalk. and look forward to welcoming you all into our community.

We were going to do an update regarding masks etc, but we don’t feel it is overly necessary at this moment as we’ve followed the guidelines throughout. Current guidelines state that it is no longer mandatory to wear a face mask, so if you don’t want to wear one, don’t! If you still feel more comfortable wearing one that is completely fine and no judgement will be passed here as you all know. The store is still the belter little barbershop it always was so there isn’t high traffic in here anyways, do you.
